Although a vacation day – I still had a lot of ‘jobs’ to do to get ready for a short break to Devon. So amongst the washing, cleaning and packing (and if really needed a little bit of ironing) I made a bit of an occasion of my breakfast to get me off to a good start. On a cath kidston plate, and a gainsborough bone chine cup and saucer (one of my late grandad’s) ‘Eggy bread with grilled tomatoes and English Breakfast tea. Together with a warm sunny day – couldn’t have been better.
